alexander mcqueen jacket with strong shoulders & vertical pockets, f/w 1998 “joan”

very* sharp shouldered tailored grey wool blazer from aone of my favorite mcqueen collections (arguably one of his best), “joan,” centered around the catholic martyr, joan of arc. features a peaked lapel, with two vertical integrated seam pockets.. just divine! additional internal pocket inside (less common in women’s tailoring) and at front breast. signature mcqueen “blood drip” lining. the devil is in the details. as seen on the runway (look nr. 13) tucked inside of an adjustable exposed button skirt. see final slides for documentation from the runway presentation.
