azzedine alaïa zipper mini dress, a/w 1986

long sleeved, high neck mini dress in black virgin wool from the “king of cling”. as seen on the runway not once, but four times in various color ways! horizontal ribbing at bust and hip with a particularly fitted wasp-like waist for a striking, body con fit. ykk zippered frontal closure with smaller zippers at wrists to allow for gloves in colder months, when necessary. the dress can be worn open as a jacket or cardigan, alternatively.
