from the golden era of gigli, a beautiful deep brown blazer, perfectly boxy, with silk floral embroidery at its collar. a subtle luxury for the demure and perhaps less blatant client! the tangerine silk backing the floral, contrasting against the brown- just.. ethereal! this and similar embroidery styles were featured on the runway on various pieces- either entirely on jackets or shawls, or as subtle detailing on collars and lapels, as seen on this piece..
