costume national “butterfly" bag, 2000s

costume national 00s “butterfly” bag in brown suede leather. some of the most supple suede i’ve handled; features contrasting crème stitching throughout, an accordion-style body, and a stuffed, stiff handle (not dissimilar to ysl’s mombasa!) symmetrically anchored by two heavy o-rings at either side. there are four concealed pockets in total (not including the inner “compartment”)- making the bag incredibly practical for daily wear. this design was carried over and adjusted from season to season.
