hussein chalayan irregularly dyed denim jacket, s/s 2001

irregularly dyed denim jacket from the “ventriloquy” collection, as seen in various iterations presented on the runway. two patch pockets at chest with a hidden placket & button closure at center front. paneled construction at backside for optimal fit. there are stitch markings around the edges of the darkly dyed areas, which i assume were initially patched, then dip-dyed and/or bleached to achieve this ghostly armored effect!
