maison martin margiela ecru leather bustier, s/s 2012

buttersoft lamb leather bustier in ecru. three quarter length with large elastic knit gusset at entirety of backside for both comfort and movement. sleeveless, with darting at bust for a perfectly tailored fit. fully lined in smooth viscose. so many ways to wear this piece; the elegance of a corset without the rigor of its boning. originally shown for s/s 2010, this is the shorter version of the mini-dress worn on the runway.
