martin margiela “heel-less” flats, s/s 2000

very rare “heel-less” stiletto pumps (flats!) in smooth black leather. designed to suggest “broken” heels by way of a small, leather-concealed angular wedge. i own these as boots and they are by far my most beloved pair of shoes (and that is saying a LOT); such a strong design and ultra comfortable. these have been re-soled by their previous owner who took very good care of preserving them. please note: the original line (22) stamp has been covered by the rubber at the shoe’s sole. these early pairs of MM shoes were not stamped in their footbed.
