stretch tulle top in black with open sides and sets of cotton tape ties to wrap and secure around the front and back of the body. sheer, with an additional internal layer at front for some coverage. classic “cigarette” style sleeves, indicative of martin’s early tailoring, with darts at shoulder and elbows causing the sleeve to have a natural curve (another martin special). long, pronounced cuffs at sleeve ends. many variations of this piece are visible throughout much of the documentation of this particular collection- see photos.
