miu miu pvc encased tweed bag, f/w 1998

tech-tweed by miuccia prada. dual layered bag in pink toned woolen tweed that has been wrapped in a layer of clear PVC. the top handle is made up of a vein of glitter that has been encased in thick plastic. large leather and velcro patch closure, with an additional zippered pocket inside. the juxtaposition of both woolen and plastic elements make the bag suitable for all-season wear! another bag with a similar handle, and a pair of woolen shoes wrapped in PVC (similar concept) were featured in the f/w 1998 campaign. see final slides for visuals!
