prada platformed lug sole riding boots, a/w 2013

knee high leather boots with a full zippered closure, pointed toe and impressive platformed lug sole. a fine example of miuccia’s self referencing, taking clear inspiration from the a/w 1994 zippered riding boots. shorter, oxford style variations with the same zip-and-strap closure were shown for the runway presentation and a heeled version were featured in the season’s campaign.

* good vintage conditon. minor wear, left zipper pull has been replaced by a similar, unbranded pull. zipper is not affected, whatsoever! 7/10
