prada nylon, leather, and beaver fur anorak, a/w 1994

nylon and leather anorak with detachable beaver fur collar, similar to styles worn on the runway. the year prior, miuccia showed similar nylon coats with a removable beaver fur collar that was also shot for the season’s campaign, worn by christy turlington (see final slide for reference). the jacket is 3/4 in length, with a heavy silver metal buckle and elasticated belt at waistline to cinch as desired. there are five pockets throughout, with both snap and zip closures. the interior lining, like the fur collar, can be removed to make the coat even more spring friendly. underneath the fur are leather panels; perfect for a pared down look.. so many ways to wear and style this piece!
