vivienne tam ruffle bodice mesh dress, s/s 1996

the perfect mini dress in black skin hugging stretch-mesh. a-line shape, for a subtly flounced hem. vertical ruffles at bodice, with horizontal running ruffles at its 3/4 sleeves’ hems. half-buttoned to adjust fit as desired, with an opaque collar and placket. shown on the runway (not once, not twice, but thrice) in various shades, and styled with a slip underneath- so many options with this piece! shown on a FR36 (small) mannequin. will fit small-large as the mesh has a fair percentage of stretch. in good condition with little to no signs of wear. from the spring/summer 1996 collection.
